On-board cameras and aerial shots capture the drag races and the 500 mile enduro race in exciting angles.

Thunder Drag races have a track length of 660ft with racers reaching top speeds up to 120 miles per hour.

Carried By Dogteam

At the turn of the century, mail was regularly transported between Carcross, Yukon and Atlin, B.C. by dogteam. Winter travel was unpredictable and dangerous but no one knew the ice conditions better than the mail carriers.   Every year since the first Commemorative Mail Run, enthusiastic sled dogs and their Mushers honour the hardy individuals who carried the mail at the turn of the century.

Carried By Dogteam” follows the trail of the Mail Run, where modern-day Mushers and their dogteams experience the spirit of the pioneers and share their stories from the trails.

Yukon Arctic Ultra

The world's coldest human-powered ultra race includes a Marathon distance,  a 100-mile and a 300-mile course, following the world-famous Yukon Quest trail in an arduous journey on frozen rivers and the remote outdoors of the great white North.

Athletes from all over the world choose their mode of human-powered transportation - on mountain bike, on foot or on cross-country skies. The racers travel the entire distance carrying all their gear needed on their backs, on small sleds or on their bikes.                                Extreme conditions are caused by the cold winter climate, the changing nature of the trail, the distance covered and by the remoteness of the area.
